Since 1995, Jody has served as the Program Administrator for the Consortium Ethics Program within the Division of General Internal Medicine at the University of Pittsburgh, where she oversees operations for a regional healthcare ethics network serving healthcare professionals across the western Pennsylvania tri-state area.
Jody is an experienced administrator and conference coordinator with over three decades of leadership in academic medicine and healthcare ethics education, with extensive expertise in planning and managing large-scale educational programs, including annual ethics conferences, seminars, and more than 100 outreach events each year. She is highly skilled in budgeting, program administration, continuing education accreditation, and stakeholder engagement, working closely with interdisciplinary teams across medicine, nursing, and social work.
Known for her organizational leadership and collaborative approach, Jody has built strong relationships with healthcare institutions and academic partners, supporting high-quality professional development initiatives that advance ethical practice in healthcare.
Earlier in her career, she held administrative roles within the University of Pittsburgh and the hospitality industry, where she developed a strong foundation in operations, event planning, and human resources.
